HEINTZ HOPE CHARITY POKER RUN FOR CWOH

On July 26, 2009 the “Heintz Hope Charity Motorcycle Ride for Cody’s Wheels Of Hope” held a Poker Run. As usual this year part of the ride was under rain, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of all the participants. We would like to thank Greg Heintz for organizing the run and choosing CWOH to benefit. The ride started at Greg’s house with breakfast and drawing our first card. From there we stopped at Johnny B’s in North East, PA to draw the next card. Next stop was Kelly’s Hotel just past the state line in Ripley, NY and then on to the Lakeview Hotel/Restaurant in Mayville, NY. Our final destination was The Casino Restaurant in Bemus Point, NY. There we drew our final card and the winner was chosen with the best poker hand. There were other prizes awarded which were donated by various businesses. We thank them all for their donation. Greg did a fantastic job – in a short time – and we are very grateful. Because of his efforts we will be able to brighten the lives of at least 3 hopeful children.
