That put a damper on attendance. We left the run open to all vehicles so some of the participants drove other vehicles, while a few brave souls did ride bikes. No one melted in the rain! This was the 2nd year of the Dice Run. Last year the rain was more of a torrential downpour, so this was an improvement. The winners of the run were Dale Gregg (1st place), Gayle Clark (2nd place) and Rich Filson (3rd place). Congratulations to all of them! The winner of the 50/50 was Ron Fullerton. We had a cookbook by Biker Billy autographed by him for this event. Marcie Dailey won the book. We earned enough to make 4 special children very happy! Among them are Pepsi, Hoss’s, Pittsburgh Inn, BFE (Bikers From Erie), Butch’s Place, Chico’s, Simply Red Beauty Salon, Aleks Powersports, and if I missed anyone please let me know and we will list you here also. The ride started at Greg’s house with breakfast and drawing our first card. From there we stopped at Johnny B’s in North East, PA to draw the next card. Next stop was Kelly’s Hotel just past the state line in Ripley, NY and then on to the Lakeview Hotel/Restaurant in Mayville, NY. Our final destination was The Casino Restaurant in Bemus Point, NY. There we drew our final card and the winner was chosen with the best poker hand. There were other prizes awarded which were donated by various businesses. We thank them all for their donation.
